When we found out we needed a stucco remediation, we were very concerned about finding the right contractor. Sean from Breffni Contractors came out and provided an estimate. We decided to go with them and couldn’t be happier with the work done by Sean and his team. First, the estimate was the most complete that we received so we did not have to deal with any additional work related to the remediation after it was completed. They even cleaned the windows. During the remediation, like many people , our daughter and I were working from home due to COVID. Sean was great about communicating in advance the steps in the remediation process that would be noisy so we could schedule calls around that work. For the work needing to be done from inside of our house, they put down drop cloths as well as caulked and painted where needed after they completed their work. He also worked with us on making sure the colors of the stucco and stone matched the previous colors as required by our HOA. Sean’s team cleaned up and left our home in good order every day before they left and did everything possible to minimize the disruption. The house exterior is beautiful and we have received many complements from our HOA and neighbors on the quality of the work. We have recommended Sean and Breffni to several people we know who need a stucco remediation and believe we had the best possible result.
Breffni Contracting just finished a repair at my home and I was very pleased with the quality of their work. A leaking pipe had degraded some drywall and the underlying wooden structure. The job was a little tricky because the damage was extensive and it was adjacent to an exterior wall and the kitchen. The job required removal of some exterior siding (for access), replacement of the damaged/rotten wooden structure, and then replacement of the drywall. I could see that the work was done right and it all looks new again. This was the second job that Breffni has performed at my house and I am happy to be a repeat customer.
Breffni Contracting performed water remediation and repair on our home in Bear Delaware during the summer of 2020. It was a difficult time due to Covid, but at no time were we concerned with the disease as the staff followed acceptable practices. The project was involved as demolition discovered problems that could not have been foreseen, requiring extensive remedial work and coordination. The management remained in constant contact with us coordinating the inside and outside work. Each crew that worked on the project were well trained, pointed out deficiencies that caused our original problems, demonstrated logical fixes to these problems and took great care to assure that all new flashings and air gaps were installed properly to avoid any future problems. All work areas were picked up daily leaving us with minimal intrusion. The work areas of our house appear brand new and all work was done with materials as we selected. We were more than satisfied with the end product and would highly recommend them.
Thank you for taking such great care of our home as we managed through a water remediation project that required most of our windows and some of our doors to be replaced and or repaired. We both went into this project very nervous just given the amount of work needed and time projected to complete the work. In these current times when many of us are balancing working from home, our children and our pets, having people in our home/outside of our home for an extended period of time was challenging. However, I will say that this team made it as seamless as possible. They communicated their work schedule in advance so we could make the necessary arrangements, communication overall was phenomenal. If you called or text, you received a response almost immediately. The quality of work was great as well. There were a couple of minor things that needed attention and the team was there without hesitation to resolve the issue. A home is a very large investment and it was critical to have our home repaired swiftly and with quality.
